No matter how large your report, ReportSmith is powerful enough to handle
very large databases - databases that may be too large for other report
writers to handle.
ReportSmith’s client/server memory management technology allows you to
choose where the data result set is stored - in local client memory, on the
client's hard disk, or on the server.
To quickly create reports against large databases, ReportSmith’s true draft
mode lets you build and modify reports using a subset of the database,
dramatically reducing processing time.
ReportSmith 5.x
connects to these databases through native connections or the
database vendor's ODBC driver:
Microsoft SQL Server: 6.5, 7, 2000 and 2005
Microsoft Access: 97 and 2000
Oracle: 6, 7, 8, 8i and 10g
Caché: 4 and 5
SQL Base: 4.5
Sybase: 10 and 11
Paradox: 7
dBase: 5
Oracle 10g supported data types and functions are
the same as those for Oracle 8i. |
